Jack Halberstam
Theorist and pioneering academic, Jack Halberstam is a powerhouse in the realms of feminism, queer theory, lesbian studies, drag king scholarship, and pop culture commentary. Jack is the author of “Gaga Feminism: Sex, Gender, and the End of Normal”, “In A Queer Time and Place”, “The Queer Art of Failure”, and “Female Masculinity”. Currently a professor of American Studies and Ethnicity, Gender Studies, and Comparative Literature at the University of Southern California, Jack is working on a new text entitled “No Church in the Wild” which explores creative methods of resisting late capitalism and neoliberalism in fantastic, and queer, ways.
