Jennifer Huang is a dog lover and cat tolerator, born and raised in Rockville, Maryland. She graduated from Thomas S. Wootton High School and, in her senior year, attended and graduated from the Visual Art Center Magnet program. Currently, she is in the Bachelors of Humanities and Arts program at Carnegie Mellon University, studying Creative Writing and Fine Arts. In her work, she explores the meanings of femininity, and what it means to be a “woman,” through personal story telling. She draws inspiration from patterns and repetition as well as juxtaposition and polarity. In her spare time she enjoys finding things on the ground and going on dates with herself.
